10 Drugstore Beauty Products

I always love to hear what other girls are using in their beauty routines, so I thought I would share my top products with ya’ll. These are 10 tried and true staples I’ve been using for awhile and still use almost everyday! I’ve included products from hair to skin to makeup that can all be found at local drugstores, like CVS or Walgreens. I choose products that are affordable, effective, and simple, making busy days that much easier.

No. 1 – CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion: this pair of moisturizers is always stocked in my beauty cabinet because of their deeply nourishing, intensely hydrating ingredients. I incorporate the am moisturizer into my morning skincare routine due to it’s spf 30 component, and I use the pm moisturizer in my nighttime, waking up refreshed and glowing.

No. 2 – Equate Beauty Foaming Facial Cleanser: I love this cleanser because it leaves my face feeling squeaky clean and oh, so fresh, yet it’s gentle enough for sensitive skin.

No. 3 – Equate Beauty Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover: I apply just a little of this makeup remover on a cotton ball, then rub my eyes a couple times to take off mascara I’ve worn throughout the day. The formula is so soothing, it makes the hassle of wiping off makeup easy!

No. 4 – TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer for Hair Heat Protection: this is a hair protectant I apply liberally all over my hair when curling, straightening, or blowing dry. It does the job while magically protecting my hair and retaining the shine and silkiness.

No. 5 – It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Conditioner Spray Product: a product that’s truly miraculous, this spray locks in moisture, conditions, protects, smooths, restores, and much more, not to mention it’s tantalizing just-home-from-a-blowout aroma.

No. 6 – L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara: this mascara effortlessly builds to achieve full, awake lashes; I use the shade ‘black brown’ to complement my honey blonde hair for a more natural look.

No. 7 – Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Primer: I use this clear gel-like product to smooth out any bumps or blemishes, and provide a glassy foundation for powder or sunscreen.

No. 8 – Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm: this little balm adds just the right amount of color to bring out a natural glow, while also keeping lips soft and smooth. I use the shade ‘hibiscus’.’ Tip: you can also use the lip balm as a cheek tint/blush, applying a swipe on the apples of your cheeks and rubbing in.

No. 9 – CLEAN & CLEAR® ADVANTAGE® Acne Spot Treatment: whenever I spot a blemish or a breakout, I apply a small amount of this cream all over the effected area. Additionally, it contains salicylic acid, a powerful ingredient proven to clear skin and decrease pore size.

No. 10 – Neutrogena Skin Clearing Mineral Powder: I use this product as a light, foundation-like powder to minimize shine and maximize clear skin. I love that it provides breathable coverage, while still revealing the little freckles and things that make a truly natural look.

Lastly, I want to mention that everyone’s skin is a little bit different, so products that work for me might not work for you. I do encourage you to try out some of these drugstore buys and see what you think; one product might just become your new favorite!

Warmly,

Thanks for the post!!! I used to have the Burt’s bees lip balm or gloss (I can’t remember which one!) and it was amazing! Mine was a light pink and it was so pretty 😄
