July has flown by in the blink of an eye! It’s hard to believe school starts in a few weeks! The month of July brought an exciting choir trip to Universal Studios in Florida, where my sister and I split a yummy frozen butter beer in Diagon Alley – I’d go back just for the butter beer! Style
Lake pajamas is having a summer sale right now, for up to 40% of over 400 different styles of pajamas, nightgowns, and play sets. I’ve had my eye on these pima cotton shorts set in Seaside, and the sale was the perfect time to pull the trigger. Stay tuned for a full review of the pajamas in a few weeks. 🙂
Beauty
The other day I styled my hair using the Revlon hair brush-dryer, and ya’ll, I forgot how much I love it! The one-step hair-styling tool creates unbeatable volume and gives your hair that sleek salon look. I will be using it more regularly now!
Creativity
Have you used Planner 5d? It’s a neat interior and architectural online design platform and tool, where you can create endless possibilities of houses, businesses, and building designs and house plans. This summer I dabbled in interior design a bit, and planner 5d was a helpful tool to turn my visions into actual floorplans.
Faith
One of my dear friends, Eliza, introduced me to the Live In Love podcast by Lauren Akins on Spotify…and it is amazing! Lauren Akins brings two guests to speak every episode, and each episode brings so much wisdom and inspiration on how to live a life in love that glorifies God. Even after the first episode on adoption, I was moved by stories of how God worked through adoption and changed lives. Adoption is a small picture of how God adopted us and welcomed us into His family – salvation is truly the best gift ever. I appreciate how real the podcast is and how it’s evident each person is pursuing truth and striving to know God more and more.
Wellness
Elisabeth & Butter is one of my favorite bakers, because of her yummy and simply recipes that are so easy to follow! I made her lemon shortbread bars, and they were to die for, so tangy and buttery!
