How To Incorporate Little Women Fashion Elements Into Modern Style
One of my all-time favorite movies, Little Women is a classic story about a family of four daughters living through the Civil War; the movie depicts the ups and downs of the March sisters, following the girls as they grow up and learn to be best friends with each other. I love how the newest version of the movie captures each sister’s unique character and tells a story of how their experiences shape the woman they become. It’s a special movie to me because it’s so similar to my daily life with four sisters! 🙂 The gorgeous dresses and skirts contributed to the nostalgic, warm feel of the film. - Independant and strong-willed, Jo is an aspiring writer who dreams of traveling the world and publishing her stories. Her style is the opposite of Meg’s, as she reaches for clothes that are as functional and practical as she is.
- Jo’s signature element is a camel and black blazer, a neutral coat to combat the frosty Massachusetts winter.

- Beth has a servant’s heart and loves her sisters well. She devotes herself to her studies, her dolls, the piano, and others, and gently seeks to please those around her.
- She has an understated beauty, and she wears dresses and billowy blouses with pretty details, like lace collars and dainty buttons. Beth also wears hair ribbons and bows as a simple accessory.
