Healthy Hair Habits
Today I’m sharing the inside scoop on all the little products and hair tools I use to achieve healthy and touchable locks. I use all of these items on a daily basis, and they are tried-and-true, effective, and affordable. I
- TREsemme Volume Shampoo and Conditioner: I’ve used TREsemme products growing up, and I haven’t found another brand that delivers as high quality at such an affordable price point. I chose their volume line of shampoo and conditioner to bring body and texture to fine hair. To keep my bathroom a little more organized and uniform, I transferred them into these clear plastic bottles, but I promise it’s the same product!
- Microfiber Hair Turban: immediately after I step out of the shower, I wrap all my hair up in a hair turban, which helps it dry faster as well as prevents breakage. The towel expedites the process of getting ready, as it secures all your hair while you apply a moisturizor or makeup.
- TREsemme Thermal Heat Protectant: I’m a firm believer in the benefits of a good heat protectant, and I love this one from TREsemme. I apply a liberal amount from the top to the ends of my hair, weaving the product through with my hands.
- One Step Revlon Blow Dryer Brush: who doesn’t love a fun, new hair toy? I recently received this gem for my birthday, and it’s a hair tool I use on repeat. A hair brush meets a blow dryer, making the optimum design for a quick salon-worthy blowout. It’s also affordable (under $60), and transitional, as it can create sleek, straight styles to wavy locks. In conclusion, I highly recommend this gem, both for you and your girlfriends! It will make your life easier, make hectic mornings calmer, and make fly-aways tamer. π
- Wet Brush: these brushes have been popular for awhile, but I personally like them as the bristles are so gentle and easy, even tangly hair.
- Tyme 2 in 1 Straightener/Curling iron: I snagged a copycat of the Tyme iron on Ebay for just $13, and this tool is a lifesaver. It functions as a dual hair tool – working as both a straightener and curling iron – and you can get effortless-looking waves in under 10 minutes!
* I’m thinking of making a hair curling tutorial to go more in depth about how I use this tool, so let me know in the comments below if ya’ll would like to see a blog post on that!
