30 Fun Things About Me
December 31, 2020
Even though I love fashion and blogging, I thought I would share some little tidbits about myself, so you can get to know me better. Here are thirty fun facts that you may or may not know about me. π
- I live in South Carolina, so I’m a regular southern gal. π
- I have a huge sweet tooth, which trumps all other food cravings, hence why I love baking!
- My favorite flowers are blush pink and peachy cream garden roses.
- My hobbies include crafting, running, babysitting, reading, and spending time with friends!
- If I could name myself (even though I love my name), I would be called Rosalind Avonlea.
- I have a habit of singing in the house or when walking the dog, it keeps a pep in your step!
- My love language is giving small gifts, but I receive love through words of affirmation and quality time.
- I’m also a ESFJ on the Myers-Briggs personality scale and an enneagram 3.
- I love waking up to a clean, organized room.
- My ideal day is one spent with friends, first enjoying a picnic in a warm, mountainside retreat and then some fun downtown window-shopping!
- I love all things vintage and old-school.
- My spirit animal is a combination of a swan and a horse, as they are both graceful and sensitive to others around them.
- I don’t like coffee, but I wish I did.
- I love spring and summer the best, as those seasons are calling for bright, breezy colors and prints.
- I collect all the hand-written cards I’ve ever received and keep them in a wooden box in my bedroom. I just love looking back and reading treasured cards and reliving memories.
- I’m very observant, so I tend to notice and remember the little details about places or people.
- I have a Dutch bird dog, Tallie, who’s a little over a year old and so sweet-tempered.
- My favorite movies are Big Hero 6, Princess Bride, and the new Little Women. But my sisters and I have been watching the Marvel series, so who knows, those might be my new favorites.
- If I was job-shadowing someone for a day, I would shadow a boutique-owner, interior-designer, or nurse.
- My go-to color palette is blush pink, sky blue, and forest green.
- Style icon: Julia Berolzheimer, because she has such a great eye for fashion and seems to make everything she wears look amazing.
- My favorite scents are citrus and almond.
- My favorite books include the Keeper of the Lost Cities series, the Mysterious Benedict Society, the Penderwicks, and Anne of Green Gables (you can tell I love reading!).
- My favorite memory is going on a sunrise hike with my mom and sisters; we woke when it was still dark outside and hiked up a steep, mountainside trail.
- One year at summer camp I ate 2 live crickets as a challenge, and immediately regretted it.
- I’m 5’6″ tall.
- I love dancing – the waltz, line dances, anything with music.
- I like playing board games, especially Ticket to Ride and Rummikub.
- If I could describe myself in 5 words, I would say I’m sincere, driven, vibrant, cheerful, and creative.
- I love writing historical-fiction short stories.
I came across this quote and it seemed to perfect to share with ya’ll!
“What better way to get to know someone than through her choice and treatment of books.” – Diane Setterfield.
